Kohrra Season 2 Review: Truth, Trauma & Twisted Secrets | Notes by Vibhu

Kohrra Season 2 (Netflix) – Review

Kohrra Season 2 on Netflix returns with another intense and emotionally layered crime drama, blending murder mystery with deep personal struggles of its characters.

The story begins with the shocking murder of a young woman named Preeti Bajwa. The investigation is handled by Inspector Dhanwant Kaur and ASI Amarpal Garundi, who initially suspect Preeti’s husband and her brother. However, as the investigation progresses, new secrets slowly come to light, turning the case into a complex web of relationships, betrayal, and hidden truths.

It is revealed that Preeti had left her husband after a fight and returned to her parental home. She secretly withdrew $6000 from their joint account and gave 10 lakh Rs. to her new boyfriend, Johnny Malang. Soon, investigators discover that Johnny was already involved in another affair, making him a prime suspect as he goes missing and the police begin searching for him.

Meanwhile, another shocking layer unfolds involving Preeti’s brother Baljinder. His hidden relationship and second marriage come to light, along with property disputes and violent incidents linked to a contract killer named Pamma. A tragic fire at Baljinder’s farm kills several laborers who were illegally confined there, exposing darker crimes connected to the family’s past.

The narrative becomes even more emotional when a young man searching for his father, Rakesh Kumar — once a servant in Baljinder’s house — enters the story. Believing his father died in the fire, he commits a murder before surrendering, only for the mentally unstable Rakesh Kumar to later appear at the police station, revealing painful truths behind years of suffering.

Alongside the investigation, the series deeply explores the personal lives of the officers. Inspector Dhanwant Kaur struggles with grief after losing her son Nihal in an accident, while her husband battles alcoholism and eventually enters rehabilitation. ASI Amarpal Garundi also faces family turmoil when his past affair with his sister-in-law resurfaces, creating tension in his marriage.

⭐ Review Verdict

Kohrra Season 2 is not just a murder mystery — it is a powerful exploration of trauma, guilt, and human relationships. The slow-burn storytelling, realistic performances, and emotional depth keep viewers engaged throughout. Every episode reveals new layers, making the series gripping and unpredictable.

Final Rating: ☆☆☆☆ (4/5)

A dark, emotional, and thought-provoking crime drama that focuses as much on human emotions as on solving the crime.

Mardaani 3 (2026) Review & Analysis – Story, Rating, Cast | Notes by VIBHU

🎬 Mardaani 3 – Full Detailed Review & Brief ⭐ Rating: 8/10 ✍️ Brief Review Mardaani 3 is a dark, emotionally intense crime thriller that expands the franchise beyond personal revenge into a larger, systemic battle against organized crime . Rani Mukerji once again delivers a commanding performance as Shivani Shivaji Roy , carrying the film with authority and emotional depth. The film raises the stakes with multiple villains, a wider scale, and a disturbing storyline involving missing children and illegal experimentation. However, despite its strong narrative, the film suffers slightly from uneven pacing and dialogue inconsistencies —for instance, lines like “Jabda khol nhi to muh tod dungi” don’t hit as powerfully as expected. 👉 Verdict: A gripping, hard-hitting sequel that is bigger and darker, but not as sharp as Mardaani 2 . 🧠 Detailed Story Analysis (No Spoilers Tone) The film follows Shivani investigating the disappearance of 93 young girls , which leads her into a dee...
